iPhone can download music over EDGE too (Macworld.com)

Macworld.com - As part of the trio of iTunes-related announcements during his Tuesday morning Macworld Expo keynote address, Phil Schiller announced that Apple had added support for purchasing and downloading music and podcasts on the iPhone using a 3G data connection (previously support was limited to Wi-Fi-connected phones and iPod touches—it was even called the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store until today). And yes, it works.

Expo: TechRestore shows off real time machine, matte screen service (Macworld.com)

Macworld.com - Yeah, Acura may have cars on the show floor, but none of their mechanical conveyances measure up to the automotive star of this year’s expo. In the north hall at the TechRestore booth, you can find—prepare yourself—a DeLorean. We may not have a Marty McFly or Dr. Emmett Brown to pilot it, but the car, flux capacitor and all, is sitting with open doors at the expo.

Apple Releases New ‘09 Version of iLife at Macworld (NewsFactor)

NewsFactor - Apple showed a new version of its iLife package Tuesday at the Macworld Conference & Expo, now taking place in San Francisco. iLife is a suite of software programs included with a new Mac, and provides tools such as iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, iWeb and iDVD. Hackers hit MacRumors keynote coverage (CNET)

CNET - Some nasty pranksters, likely associated with Web forum 4Chan, have hacked into Apple gossip mainstay MacRumors’ live-blog coverage of Tuesday’s Macworld keynote. Hosted on a separate domain, MacRumorsLive.com, the site was plagued by offensive messages about Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ health and general inanity (i.e. “SEX ME”) before finally succumbing to “technical difficulties.”
